How would you decribe special needs? Each of my children are special and each have needs, does that make them special needs. God created us all in our own unique way, some might need glasses, braces, hearing aids, leg braces, open heart surgery, kidney transplant, plastic surgery, cleft lip, cleft palate, removal of an eye, cancer, brain disorder, legally blind, down syndrome, webbed toes, healthy, skinny, over weight, very high IQ and the list can go on. These are all special needs my children have, but each one is created in God's image, so very perfect.
Zuri comes with a list of special needs, microcephaly, CP, limited vision, limited hearing, and seizures. She was overlooked by so many, but God made no mistake when He created Zuri, she is perfect just the way HE wanted her. Yes, she may never physcially be able to do the things other children do but her life has just as much meaning. I have no doubt she will just blossom in our family, she will be loved on non-stop, and praised for each accomplishment she makes.
